Bera, an adventurer’s retreat is situated 180 km from Jodhpur and 150 km from Udaipur by road. One could also use the railways to reach Bera with the closest station being Jawai Bandh which is 14 km from the Resort.

Udaipur is also known as the 'City of Lakes' and is the historic capital of the kingdom of Mewar in the former Rajputana Agency. Apart from its history, culture, and scenic locations, it is also known for its Rajput-era palaces. The Lake Palace, for instance, covers an entire island in the Pichola Lake. Many of the palaces have been converted into luxury hotels. It is often called the "Venice of the East".

Tour Itinerary

 

Day 1 Reach JawaiBandh station OR Udaipur Airport in the morning.
  You will be transferred to the resort.
  After breakfast refresh and relax. You can roam around resort to spot birds.
  After lunch and some rest we will go for safari to spot leopards.
  We will return for dinner.
  Overnight stay at resort.

 

 

Day 2 Early morning leave for safari to spot leopards and other animals/birds.
  We will come back for breakfast.
  Bera is a village in Rajasthan where leopards roam freely. Along it flows the river Jawai, with the Jawai dam built on it. Locals proudly say that the chances of spotting a leopard or leopards in Bera is almost 100% since they are found here in huge numbers.
  After refreshing check-out and leave for Udaipur. >Reach Udaipur by afternoon. Lunch and relax for some time.
  Evening free for leisure and shopping.

 

Day 3 After breakfast visit famous Chittorgarh & Haldighati where Maharana Pratap fought his last battle.
  The city of Chittorgarh is located on the banks of river Gambhiri and Berach. Mythological background of the city tells that it was built by the Pandava warrior Bhima. The Eventful great past of Chittorgarh is well clear in the ruined castles, impressive forts and magnificent royal buildings.
  Haldighati is famous for the Battle of Haldighati, that was fought between the Mughal Empire and the forces of Mewar on June 21, 1576 at Haldighati in Rajasthan,India. It was an indecisive battle as none of the Kings were captured, killed or surrendered.
  Return by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 4 After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing at Udaipur.
  Visit palaces, lakes and enjoy the beauty.
  Evening free for leisure and shopping.
  Udaipur is a tourist's delight. Some of the places worth mentioning are Lake Palace, situated on Jag Niwas island in Lake Pichola, Monsoon palace, Jagdish Temple, Fateh Sagar Lake, Maharana Pratap Memorial, Ahar Mahal etc.

 

Day 5 After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing in Udaipur and return for lunch.
  After lunch check-out and leave for railway station or airport to return back to Mumbai.

Tour Cost :

Cost of the above tour : Rs. 16,500/- Per person on twin sharing basis.

1) Travel from Mumbai to Udaipur / JamaiBandh and return.

2) Extra meals, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, telephone call / fax / email and laundry charges.

3) Video and still camera permit charges if and where necessary. (except in Bera).

4) Visits to cultural or any other sites that are not included/indicated in the itinerary.

5) Personal tipping to porters, restaurant people, park guides, jeep drivers, tour vehicle driver and local tour leader.

6) Any deviation from the above itinerary.
